Are tampons beside plastic applicators fruitless for the environment?

I'm almost sure they are, but are there any that biodegrade/recycle better than others? Most plastics do not biodegrade or can be confidently recycled. That's just the disposition of most plastics as a material, they are moulded and set for a specific form and after that they can't be changed trouble-free or economically.
There are some uses for some recycled plastics and there are bioplastics that break down if they are not contained by an airless landfill.
The plastic applicators are not biodegradable so they are not really environmentally friendly but they are not a terrible menace any.
Plastic applicators don't take up much landfill space. If you suppose about the size and consider that they are importantly compressed to about the side ot a contest when they go into the landfill it is clear that adjectives of the plastic applicators used every year in America are newly not going to take up much space.
For what it's worth cardboard applicators don't break down summarily in a landfill environment any.
I started my period second year and I have used tampons next to plastic applicators from the start. I feel comfortable almost it. :)
p.s. BTW I also use cloth pantiliners. They are better for the environment and healthier for women. And perceive very comfy :)
i suppose cardboard applicators would biodegrade easier... hope i helped.
