At what age do you start going to the gynecologist?

wondering... I'm 14 now, btw. when is the right time? If you're sexually helpful, now is the time. If not and not have any female problems, 18 is a devout time. My 18 year old have her first visit, but the doc said that since she is a virgin, she won't have need of her first pap until she's 22. Once she's sexually active, she'll necessitate to come in for a pap almost six months afterwards.
