Any doctors or nurses here? i go to my doc end week beside what i thought be cystitis type infection?

i had be feeling resembling i needed to pass urine adjectives the time for a few days, however , i t was not similar to the usual cystitis where u hv to step every few minutes however it was more frequent than usual mostly due to the reality i had spasm in lower tummy which was relieved slightly by ratification urine. i also had cramp in my rear. the doc checked sample and said it didnt look infected but sent to lab and give me trimethoprim for 7 days. im on day 5 and to be honest just feel any better still quality i need to progress and its only to a degree relieved when i do pain within back is still here altho abdomen affliction has gone. im taking irbesartan for my bp and productive doc who gave it to me told me it can inflict kidney probs, do u thinkit may be this or what else could it be? thanks for yr lend a hand ps.i do have a docs appt for thurs when antibiotic is finished. It is entirely possible that the antibiotic that you be given is not effective for the infection you enjoy. But your GP can't do anything until the results of your urine test are final to: A, see if there is an infection present and B, see what antibiotics it is sensitive to.
Give your surgery a ring and ask if it is possible to speak to your doctor. Explain your worries to him.
