Anybody lose a substancial amount of bulk on Metformin?

I am supposed to start Metformin for PCOS tomorrow. I need to lose just about 80lbs, and I was wondering if anyone have lost a substancial amount of weight taking this drug. I do Aerobics and Kickboxing 4 days a week, and hike 4 miles 5 days a week, and have solely managed to lose 3 pounds.
Also, I know the side effects are fruitless. Is there any medication or anything else anyone did to backing curb the side effects?
Thanks! I am taking Metformin for PCOS. Along with diet change and increased exercise I have lost in the region of 25 lbs. over time. My doctor prescribed the extended release version which is said to be easier on the stomach. I in recent times made sure I drank lots of fluids and took it with meal.
I did have stomach upset and loose stools for around the first week or so but now its not resembling I'm even taking anything.
I just own to say...and its really gross...you may see what looks similar to the pill (in a whole form) surrounded by your stool. This worried me because I thought my body wasnt absorbing it. The part that comes out within your stool is just the delivery service for the medication. You body does absorb it.
I enjoy been taking metformin for PCOS for the final year. I have have no side effects (other than a regular period for the first time surrounded by my life) and have have no weight loss. I be told that it was supposed to abet me lose weight, but it didn't. I am in a minute taking Adipex to (hopefully) help me lose. I yearning you luck!
